Printer Cartridge Warranty Returns, Replacement and Refund Policy:

END USER WARRANTY: We stand behind every product that we sell. All products sold by CartridgeStore.ca come with a one year manufacturers warranty.  In the rare event of you recieving a faulty item we will even provide a FREE Return Shipping Label so you can send it back. Our objective is to provide you with a wide selection of high quality Original OEM, Remanufactured and Compatible Inkjet & Laser Toner Cartridges. For your complete peace of mind and happiness, we offer a "NO QUIBBLE 100% 30 Day SATISFACTION GUARANTEE" on most products, that means that if you are not satisfied with any product you buy from us you may return it (without giving a reason if you wish) up to 30 days after receipt of your order, provided they are unused, unopened, sealed and kept in original as new packaging (including all original documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories). This warranty applies to End Users only and does not apply to Resellers. Shipping Costs or Postage and insurance are not refundable.

Toner usage, wear and tear will be taken into consideration on any toner cartridge return when calculating any credits that may be due. (This applies to end users only) In the event that you are stocking up on toner cartridges that may not be used in the first year after date of purchase, then we recommend a quick test on each item ordered at time of delivery. This way any potentially faulty item claims can be dealt with whilst still under warranty.

RESELLER, WHOLESALE & SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS: All Reseller Orders, Wholesale Orders, Special Orders or Drop Shipments made on behalf of the Resellers are Final Sale. Special Order Items are items not listed on our website. In the event of a faulty item or a DOA only replacements will be offered. All Toner, Toner Cartridges and Ink Cartridges that are resold are Final Sale, Shipping Costs or Postage and insurance are not refundable.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDE

YOU JUST RECIEVED YOUR TONER CARTRIDGE AND IT DOES NOT WORK: If you have just recieved your ink or toner cartridge and it does not work, is a DOA (dead on arrival), has an error message, or has been damaged in shipping then please notify us immediately. In these circumstances we will contact the manufacturer directly and arrange an immediate replacement for you. If the item has to be returned we will even provide a return shipping label at no charge. To speed up the process please provide the following to: Customer Support

  • Your original Invoice Number and Date of Purchase.
  • A photo of the original box showing the part number and UPC.
  • A photo of the actual Toner Cartridge or Ink Cartridge showing the label and batch numbers or reference numbers.
  • A copy of the sample print out showing the actual printing error or issue.
  • A full description of the error or detail of the fault and a note of the actual printer error message if applicable.
  • Number of pages printed since your cartridge was installed and an example of an average printed page.

YOUR TONER CARTRIDGE HAS BEEN WORKING FINE BUT NOW PRINTS POORLY OR HAS AN ERROR! If you suspect a faulty cartridge or you are experiencing a depreciation in print quality, then you must call our Technical Support line first on 519.688.0162. If you are getting an error message on your printer then please have this to hand with your original invoice # before you call. There are many reasons for poor print quality, and our team will be there to help. As with most stores our standard policy is to have you return the unit, in it's original packaging back to us for testing. We appreciate that this can be inconvenient, so on some occasions, and particularly for DOA products (dead on arrival items a product that does not work at time of delivery or shortly after installation) this may be avoided by providing the following:

  • Your original Invoice Number and Date of Purchase.
  • A photo of the original box showing the part number and UPC.
  • A photo of the actual Toner Cartridge or Ink Cartridge showing the label and batch numbers or reference numbers.
  • A copy of the sample print out showing the actual printing error or issue.
  • A full description of the error or detail of the fault and a note of the actual printer error message if applicable.
  • Number of pages printed since your cartridge was installed and an example of an average printed page.

You can use your cell phone to take these photos then they can be emailed back to Customer Support. We will then provide this information directly to the manufacturer, at their discretion, if the goods are suspected to be faulty or damaged on route or have failed shortly after installation then they may authorise an advanced replacement.

Keep in mind the number one reason for depreciated printed output is that the toner or ink cartridge is actually close to empty.  All toner & Ink cartridge page yields are quoted at the industry standard of only 5% page print coverage. The average real-world printed page can have 15-50% print coverage so this will have a dramatic effect on the number of printed pages available from each cartridge. You may also want to check out our "Hints & Tips" section for help with frequently asked questions and common solutions. Please ensure that you have cleaned your print heads and read any instructions that were supplied with your cartridge/printer as these are the most common issues.

YOU ORDERED THE WRONG ITEM IN ERROR: Please make sure that you are ordering the correct cartridge for your printer. A confirmation email and invoice is sent automatically for you to double check that you have ordered the correct items. If in doubt call Toll Free: 1.866.250.4071 where one of our highly trained cartridge experts will be happy to help find the correct cartridge for your printer model. If you do order the wrong cartridge then we will try to help by accepting the return of the unopened, unused cartridge, but Free Shipping if applicable, will not apply for your second shipment to you. You will be responsible for the safe return of the wrongly ordered ink, solid ink or toner cartridge and the return package shipping costs. If we originally shipped to you free and you are returning wrongly ordered items for refund/credit, our original actual cost of shipping to you will be deducted from your refund/credit. A restocking fee of 15% will also be applied to cover administation, packaging and handling costs. Any item/carton that is opened or installed is deemed as used and is not returnable.

Toner, Solid Ink & Ink usage, wear and tear will be taken into consideration on any toner or ink cartridge returned when calculating any credits that may be due. No return will be accepted without an authorised returns number which should be shown clearly on the outer packaging. Items returned without this may have a restocking fee of 15% of original invoice value applied.

IF YOU ARE RETURNING YOUR INK OR TONER: You have to return your toner or ink cartridge then you have to make your own arrangements for shipping goods to our premises at your cost. On successful receipt of the returned goods we will refund the full amount excluding your original shipping costs, less wear & tear and usage within 14 days, or at your request organize the shipment of a fully tested replacement which will be shipped back to your location at our cost. If we are collecting goods on your behalf then we may deduct the cost of collection from your refund. If items are found not to be faulty then our standard restocking fee of 15% may be charged. When returning any item the returns # must be clearly printed on the outside of the outer carton used to ship the goods back. (This applies to end users only)
